Cybersecurity is essential because almost every organization depends on technology to operate. Effective programs start with fundamentals: strong identity security (MFA, least privilege), consistent patching, secure configurations, endpoint protection, network segmentation, monitoring, and tested backups. Training employees is equally important, because social engineering remains one of the most common attack methods.

The real difference between organizations is how prepared they are: how quickly they detect an incident, how effectively they respond, and how fast they recover.
